Authorities Look For Man Who Ran On Foot After Vehicle Pursuit
Sparks Police say the Nevada Highway Patrol is looking for a man running on foot Thursday night.
Police don't have many details at this time, but say the initial details they received were that troopers were pursuing the man on Interstate-80 when the suspect then got out of his vehicle and ran off.
Several units from multiple agencies, along with a helicopter in the air, were looking for the man. Channel 2 News has received reports from viewers that the helicopter flew over the Lincoln Way/McCarran Boulevard area.
Police do not have information at this time on why troopers were originally trying to stop him on I-80.
As of 10 p.m. Thursday, both Sparks Police and Nevada Highway Patrol don't have any new updates.
