City of Reno "Buy Local" Event Today

Looking to get a little Christmas shopping done? This weekend you can grab some gifts while helping local businesses.

The City of Reno is hosting the first Buy Local Marketplace today featuring more than 100 local businesses.

It's going from 10 am to 5:30 pm inside the National Automobile Museum located at 10 South Lake Street.

Admission is $2 per person or 2 cans of food per person. Children under 16 are free.

Food will be donated to the Northern Nevada Food Bank. Free parking is available at the National Automobile Museum, at the City of Reno parking lot across from the museum on Mill Street, and at the Washoe County Courthouse located on the southwest corner of Court and South Virginia Streets. Free shuttle service will be available from the Courthouse parking lot.
