Weather Impacts Due to Hurricane Sandy - Reno Airport

Posted: Updated:

Due to the inclement weather on the east coast, passengers should contact their airline for flight information. It is possible that due to the heavy wind, rain and flooding from Hurricane Sandy, flights may be delayed or canceled. While Reno-Tahoe is not directly impacted, a ripple effect could result in flight delays as we go forward in to the work week.

Whether you are a traveling passenger or coming to the airport to pick someone up, all customers should contact the specific airline for flight information, via telephone or website, prior to coming out to the airport.

Remember these travel tips: call ahead before leaving for the airport; arrive at least 90 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time; print your boarding pass out at home; and pack you patience.
