Nevada Humane Society in Need of Adoptions

Posted: Updated:

The Nevada Humane Society says it's overcrowded with animals and needs your help with adoptions.

They currently have over 200 adult dogs and over 350 cats all in need of loving homes. Representatives don't know adoptions are down, but when comparing adoption stats to years' past during the same time, the numbers are much less.

In addition, they are still seeing pets arrive at the shelter daily.

Through this month they're letting you pick your price to adopt all adult dogs and cats.

Nevada Humane Society is located at 2825 Longley Lane in Reno. The shelter is open Sunday through Friday from 11:00 am until 6:30 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until 6:30 pm. For more information on adopting a pet, please call 775-856-2000, ext. 302.
