Votes in the Silver State are like gold to the candidates. And while so many swing states have swung, Nevada is still up for grabs.
Monday night's third and final debate between President Obama and Governor Mitt Romney was not nearly as telling as the first two debates.
"Neither Romney nor Obama won last night. It was about two guys not answering questions and trying not to make a mistake," said UNR Political Science Professor Eric Herzik.
He's watching even the incremental movements in the campaign and he says at this point, "It's a complete draw!"
Herzik says he's pretty sure Obama will take Michigan and Wisconsin and Romney will take North Carolina and Florida.
"That means it comes down to Ohio and one other state," Herzik says. "Nevada and one other state. Since I'm a good Nevadan, I'll say Nevada. But it could be Iowa," he adds.
The point is - political parties are busier than ever rooting out and chasing down every vote they can. Phone banks and canvassing is at a pique. In fact, both parties are bringing in reserve volunteers from California to help.
Nevada is still up for grabs.
"The election part of the campaign is over," Herzik says. "The debate last night was, 'We're done talking about anything new.' Now it's criss-crossing the country going where they need to go to get votes and hoping their ground crews can get people to the polls."
Again....14 days and counting.
