Local haunted houses are teaming up to keep hunger from scaring our community.

The Slaughter House inside Meadowood Mall in Reno is one of the spooky attractions where you can get discounted admission Thursday from 7pm-11pm. 

It's holding a food drive from 7pm to 11pm.  And "The Dungeon" at 1803 North Carson Street is also holding a food drive from 7pm to 10pm. It's located next to Grocery Outlet.

Just bring two cans of food and admission to either house is just $5. All the food will be donated to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
