As Northern Nevada continues to deal with the first winter storm of the season we have a school closure to tell you about.
Schools in the Tahoe-Truckee Unified School District as well as schools in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District are closed today.
Storey County Schools are on a one hour delay.
Washoe County Schools in the Incline Area are on a two hour delay.
Zephyr Cove Elementary and Whittell High School are on a one hour delay.
Meteorologist Jeff Martinez says a winter storm warning up for the Sierra until 11am. Cloudy & cold today highs only in the upper 40s to near 50. Scattered rain & snow showers for today. Mountains could see several more inches... travel difficult over passes. Storm moves out by Wednesday - clearing and warming end of week, 60s return this weekend!
Road controls also in effect for most all mountain roads.
