Power Restored to 1,000 NV Energy Customers - KTVN Channel 2 - Reno Tahoe News Weather, Video -

NV Energy says a substation problem knocked out the power to roughly 1,000 customers Saturday night.

Officials say the main affected areas were Kietzke Lane and Mill Street, Kietzke and Vassar Street, Harvard Way and Yori Avenue.

The affected customers were in the dark for nearly three hours. Officials say the power was restored to everyone by 8:15.

NV Energy is looking into what caused the problem at the substation.
