The man who escaped from the jail in Virginia City earlier this month appeared in court on Friday.
A Storey County court judge first arraigned Jeremy Morales on escape charges, then a different judge sentenced him to life in prison with the possibility of parole in 25 years.
Morales pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a minor in August.
He was supposed to be sentenced for that charge on Ocotber 1st -- before he fled.
Deputies say they found him in the Storey County backcountry on Monday after an ATV rider spotted him.
