Faculty, staff, students and the general public can learn more about political candidates running for office in the Reno-Sparks area during a town hall meeting.
Candidates confirmed to attend include Teresa Benitez-Thompson, David Bobzien, Greg Brower, Skip Daly, David Espinosa, Ken Lightfoot, Debbie Smith, Tom Taber, Heidi Waterman, Sheila Leslie and Mike Sprinkle.
During the town hall meeting, a moderator will manage the discussion between the candidates and the public. The candidates will share their political platforms.
After their initial remarks, the community will have an hour to ask questions of the candidates.
It will be held Tuesday at 6pm to 8pm inside the Joe Crowley Student Union Ballrooms.
The event is hosted by the Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN) Department of Legislative Affairs.
