Holiday Hiring Up in Nevada

Nevada retailers are expected to add more than 4,000 jobs through December.

The Retail Association of Nevada says it based its estimate on comparable hiring from last year when 4,100 retail positions were added statewide between September and December.

It says Nevada's retail sector grew about 3.9% during the same time over the past five years.

Nationally, retailers are expected to 700,000 seasonal jobs, up 6% from last year.

Businesses such as amazon.com, Target, Kohl's and Toys R' Us have all announced they will hire for the holiday season.
