Washoe County's Registrar of Voters office will mail the final batch of sample ballots for the General Election this Friday, October 19.
"Last Friday we mailed 233,470 sample ballots," said Senior Deputy Registrar Luanne Cutler. "This week we'll send out 10,200 more to voters who registered or changed their information since October 3, so they should begin receiving their sample ballots Saturday."
Cutler said many people have changed or updated their information since the first mailing of the sample ballots, so a second one will be sent to the corrected address and name.
Early voting in Washoe County begins this Saturday, October 20 and continues through November 2. There are 22 early voting locations throughout the community and a complete list is available at www.washoecounty.us/voters/12EVSchedule.htm.
