The Salvation Army is seeking businesses or organizations interested in sponsoring an Angel Tree this holiday season.
The Salvation Army has been providing Christmas to thousands of Washoe County Children in need for over 120 years.
Last year The Salvation Army served over 9,600 children in need.
This is how the program works:
- Your Company or organization will put up a Christmas tree, wreath, barrel or have a designated area for your employees or customers to choose an Angel Tree tag representing a child's wish.
- Purchase a gift for the child, based on the information on the tag.
- Return the unwrapped gift, with the top portion of the tag attached to the gift, to the designated area or tree.
- Deliver to The Salvation Army or call us for a Pick up at the conclusion of the drive.
