Incline Village is currently in the running for a national recycling contest in the hopes of winning the $100,000 grand prize.
Incline was chosen to represent Nevada in the SC Johnson Green Choices Recycling Challenge.
All the communities involved have to do is work to reduce their waste and recycle more.
The city that has the highest recycling rate over 6 months will win.
Right now -- the challenge is half-way over and Incline is ranked 39th out of 50. After three months, Lakes at Red Rock, Va., leads the Challenge with Huntington Woods, Mich., and Horace, N.D., trailing not far behind.
