Bill Clinton Stumps for President Obama, Democrats in Las Vegas

Former President Bill Clinton is back in Nevada to stump in the campaign battleground state for President Barack Obama and local Democratic candidates.

The former president spoke at the Springs Preserve in Las Vegas about choices in the presidential election between Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney.

U.S. Rep. Shelley Berkley and congressional candidates John Oceguera and Steven Horsford also took part in the rally.

Clinton is scheduled later to make fundraising appearances for Berkley and Oceguera.

Berkley is running for U.S. Senate against Republican incumbent Dean Heller.

Oceguera faces Danny Tarkanian. Horsford faces Congressman Joe Heck.

Clinton is slated later to give a banquet speech to the UNLV Foundation.

His visit comes 11 days before the start of early voting in Nevada.

Early voting begins on Saturday, October 20 – through November 6th.
