Sparks Police arrested a teen male for what they're calling a gang-related shooting Friday evening.
Police say it happened around 6:30 p.m. at a home on La Via Way. When officers arrived on scene, those involved already ran off. Police learned there was a shooting, but no one was hurt.
Witnesses say after the incident happened, two Hispanic males who were involved ran northbound. One was armed with a handgun. Witnesses also reported someone chased the two on foot.
With the help of the Regional Gang Unit, everyone involved in the incident was eventually found. Police say the unidentified teen was charged with assault with a deadly weapon for the shooting.
No other details have been released at this time.
