Professionals Attend Healthcare Forum Held in Sparks
It was a day of discussion and networking at one of the largest gatherings of medical professionals in northern Nevada.
KTVN's Wendy Damonte had the opportunity to emcee the 5th annual Healthcare Forum at the John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks.
Medical providers, doctors, insurance companies and other medical entities gathered together to learn about how they can have healthier employees and more productivity...like possibly creating incentives for losing weight and quitting smoking.
"Small things impact how your employees work together and a positive workplace is a healthy workplace and we believe that it's more than just physical, it's mental and all around," says Christie Quatro, director of marketing and communications, the Chamber.
There were several professional speakers on hand, including skier Grant Korgan.
There was also an exhibit hall with medical service providers and breakout sessions for attendees.
