Reno Police Seek Attempted Robber

Police are looking for a man they say tried to rob a woman in broad daylight in north Reno.

The incident happened just after noon Thursday near 1415 North Virginia Street.

Police say the victim fought off the attempted robber (then – not "as") the suspect tried to fire a shot at her.

She wasn't hurt in the incident, but they are still searching for the unidentified suspect. There's no immediate description of the robber.
