Bicyclist Hit by Vehicle in Reno

A man is in the hospital after a vehicle vs bicycle accident Monday night.

Reno Police say the man was riding his bicycle southbound in the northbound lanes of Sutro Street just before 8pm. They say he did not have proper safety and lighting equipment when he was hit by a vehicle near Oliver Street.

He was hospitalized at Renown Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver involved is cooperating with the investigation.
