A Sage Ridge student is going above and beyond to help students all throughout Washoe County.
Konner Robison started the Scholastic Gateway Fund after noticing one of his classmates didn't have - and couldn't afford - an advanced graphing calculator for class. So, he rallied community leaders to start a board last December, and he's been fundraising ever since.
They just donated $5,000 to Sparks High School for calculators.
"Sparks High School put them in their library system so that the kids can check them out for the different classes they need," explained Konner.
He says in total, they've raised $30,000.
