Children at Esther Bennett Elementary School in Sun Valley got a lesson Friday on how to stop bullying.
Students who are members of the Safe Kids Program at the school put on skits to teach children about bullying.
This is the first time they've held an anti-bullying assembly.
Organizers say sometimes young children parrot behavior they learn from other kids. "A lot of times kids are bullying they don't even know that they're doing it, they're just passing it along so our goal is to help bullying stop."
Dana Serine says the most important way to stop bullying is to report it to a teacher.
She also says it's important for children to help out their fellow students and speak up.
