The High Sierra Radio Control Club will host a benefit for the Veterans Guest House of Reno on Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Northern Nevada "Flying High for Veterans" event will take place at the Pony Express Airpark, located at 3555 Flint Dr. in Carson City.
The event is free to the public and cold water, sodas and food will be available for purchase to raise funds for the Guest House.
With support of the northern Nevada model aviation clubs and the American Academy of Model Aeronautics, there will be a full schedule of aircraft models and demonstrations.
