Reno Police Investigate Homeless Man's Death

Reno police are investigating who shot a homeless man with an air gun Wednesday night, killing him.

Investigators say 57-year-old Michael Anderson was found unconscious just before 6:30 last night near West Fourth and Sierra Streets in downtown Reno.

Paramedics were called and tried to revive him, but he passed away.

Investigators first thought he died from a medical problem but an autopsy discovered he was shot with an air rifle.

Police are still trying to determine how he was shot.
