Reno firefighters are investigating how three fires sparked just east of Highway 395 Thursday afternoon.
The fires were burning just east of the highway. One was just north of Parr Boulevard, the other was between Parr and Golden Valley Road and the third was right at the Golden Valley exit.
Nevada Highway Patrol shut down the northbound lanes so firefighters could contain the flames, but they have since been reopened.
Firefighters say no one was hurt and no property was damaged by flames.
The cause remains under investigation, but so far they appear to be human-caused.
