Peg's Glorified Ham n Eggs opened its newest location on Wednesday morning in Sparks on east Prater Way.
This marks the fourth location for the family owned and operated restaurant business.
Twenty years ago, Fred Lee Sr. and JoAnna Lee moved to Reno from Eugene, Oregon to retire. They opened their first restaurant there in 1959.
The Lees decided to open up Peg's in 2000, 'just for fun' and has since opened the four locations:
- 420 South Sierra Street, Reno
- 6300 Mae Anne Avenue, Reno
- 720 South Meadows Parkway, Reno
- 1495 east Prater Way, Sparks
Peg's garnered national acclaim when it was awarded 'Best Breakfast in America' by Esquire Magazine in October 2007.
