KNPB-Channel 5 will air a debate between Senator Dean Heller and Congresswoman Shelley Berkley on Thursday night.
Thursday's debate will air from 8pm to 9pm live.
With just 40 days until the election Berkley says this first debate will really give her a chance to show voters what's the most important part of her campaign.
"Getting people back to work. And making sure that we create good paying jobs right here in the state of Nevada."
Berkley told me at tonight's debate voters will see how different she and Senator Dean Heller are on so many issues like Medicare.
Wednesday Senator Heller stopped by our studios and talked about the debate as well. He says he hopes the issues talked about tonight are the three big ones folks are dealing with here in the Silver State: jobs, the economy and foreclosures.
"Those are the biggest issues facing Nevada today. And when I'm out on the street and I'm talking, this is what they're talking about."
