On October 6, Nevada Humane Society is hosting a giant yard sale featuring a variety of treasures generously donated by the community to directly benefit homeless pets. At this time, Nevada Humane Society is seeking tax-deductible donations of household items to make this event a success. Items needed include:
- Furniture
- Kitchen items, glassware, dishes, etc.
- Art and/or interior decorations
- Tools
- Jewelry & accessories
- Electronics (working condition)
- Other items in good to excellent, usable condition
Those interested in donating a tax-deductible item to the yard sale are asked to drop off the item to our shelter at 2825 Longley Lane in Reno during the following days and times:
- Wednesday, September 26 from 4:00 – 6:00pm
- Saturday, September 29 from 9:00am – 12:00 Noon
- Monday, October 1 – Friday, October 5 from 4:00 – 6:00pm
The yard sale will take place on Saturday, October 6 from 8:00am – 1:00pm at Nevada Humane Society.
Nevada Humane Society is open for pet adoptions seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and an hour earlier at 10:00 am on Saturdays. The adoption center is located at 2825 Longley Lane, Reno.
