Douglas County deputies need help finding two people they say burglarized two businesses in Gardnerville early Monday morning.

The first burglary happened at the Verizon Wireless Outlet Store on Waterloo Lane around 5am. Deputies say the duo smashed a store window and stole two cellphones, phone chargers and money.

The second burglary took place at the Washoe One Stop Smoke Shop located on south Highway 395, approximately one mile away from the other burglary. Deputies say they broke through a rear door and stole cigarette cartons and money.

The accomplice is described as a white woman, in her mid-20s to mid-30s, is of medium height and wore a halter top with black lycra-style stretch pants and white tennis shoes. She has a tattoo on her upper right back/rear shoulder. It appears to be a vine with multiple branches and leaves. She also has a tattoo on the back of her neck which appear to be two lines of writing.

The duo are believed to be driving a newer model black-colored Dodge Avenger or similar vehicle with an unknown Nevada license plate.

If you have any information, you can call Douglas County Secret Witness at 775-78-CRIME. A $1,000 reward is being offered.
