Reno Police Identify Motorcyclist Killed in Sunday Accident

Reno Police has identified the motorcyclist who died last weekend after being hit by a truck near Plumb & Matley Lanes.

Police say 55-year-old Lane Grow of Crescent Valley died at Renown Regional Medical Center on Sunday.

They say the driver of a full-sized truck was going eastbound on Plumb when it struck a motorcyclist driving southbound on Matley around 9:15am on Sunday.

The investigation remains on-going. They say alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

Grow was a retired University of Nevada police officer.
