Stolen Car Leads to Brief Standoff at Reno Motel

Reno Police and SWAT team members surrounded a motel on Saturday night to look for an armed suspect accused of stealing a car.

Reno Police say the car was stolen at gunpoint from Pyramid Highway, and an officer spotted the car near the 700 block of East 4th Street, near Wells Avenue. The standoff ended shortly afterward, without the suspect in custody.

The suspect is described as a "pudgy" Hispanic man in his 20s with a mustache.
