A hiring fair for veterans and military spouses is taking place right now at the University of Nevada campus.
It's being held inside the Joe Crowley Student Union through 4pm.
Since its launch in March 2011, ‘Hiring our Heroes' has held more than 260 hiring fairs nationwide, helping more than 10,400 veterans and military spouses find employment.
Companies range from America's biggest employers to small companies from across Nevada.
Job seekers should register for free at hoh.greatjob.net. Walk-in job seekers are allowed (veterans must provide military ID). You can also get more information at www.uschamber.com/hiringourheroes
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce's National Chamber Foundation along with lead sponsor Hero2Hired (H2H) is hosting Friday's job fair.
