It was confirmed today that Scolari's Food & Drug Company will be closing their store located at 200 Lemmon Drive in Lemmon Valley on September 28, 2012.
"We have been operating at that location for over 25 years, and it was not an easy decision to make considering how long we were there", said Joey Scolari, Chief Executive Officer for the Nevada based chain. Scolari also said, "But based on a number of factors, it didn't make good business sense to continue operations at that location."
"Since we have several stores in Reno and Sparks, most of our associates will be relocated to other Scolari's locations."
Scolari's Food & Drug Company is headquartered in Reno and will continue to operate 13 stores in Northern Nevada, following the closure of the Lemmon Valley location.
