Firefighters say a lightning-sparked brushfire between Mason Valley and Dayton is now 100% contained.
The 768-acre 'Como Fire' started on Sunday in the area of Mount Como, about 2.5 miles south of Rawe Peak in the Pinenut Mountains. That area is 8-10 miles southeast of Dayton.
Officials say no homes are threatened.
The fire is burning in rocky, steep, difficult to access, grass, and brush and pinyon-juniper woodland.
Approximately 199 personnel, 2 helicopters, 1 water tender, 6 hand crews, 5 engines and one dozer are currently fighting the fire. Crews are now mopping up and rehabing the area around the fire perimeter.
One firefighter suffered a minor eye injury.
