Sparks Police are looking for two suspects in an attempted robbery Saturday evening.
Police learned the suspects walked into the Dollar Plus store on Greenbrae Drive around 7:15 p.m. The first suspect distracted the clerk while the other tried to take items from behind the counter.
Police say the clerk soon confronted the second suspect and a struggle ensued. The clerk suffered a minor cut above his eye during the struggle.
After that incident, police say the suspects dropped the items they tried to steal and ran off.
The suspects are described as white males, 5'8" to 5'10", both weighing about 200-220 lbs. The first suspect was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and jeans, while the second suspect wore a dark shirt, shorts and a baseball cap. Police say their age range is unknown at this time.
