City Council Approves Changes Along Plumas Street

The Reno City Council has approved proposed improvements to Plumas Street.

The City approved RTC's plan that includes a lane change, adding bicycle lanes and space for parking on Plumas Street between Plumb Lane and Moana Lane.

RTC says those changes hope to reduce crashes in the area and improve access for all modes of transportation. This section of Plumas Street has been named a high crash corridor by the Nevada Department of Transportation.

The roadwork will begin Monday, September 10^th and the maintenance and restriping should be finished by Friday, September 14^th.
