Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney made a surprise visit to veterans in New Hampshire Thursday.
The group, Veterans for Romney, was working the phones for the campaign when he showed up. "These veterans are not happy and they are getting on the phone to make sure veterans across New Hampshire know the President didn't keep his promise," Romney said.
Romney has been taking a break from the campaign trail this week, preparing for next month's presidential debate instead. But his running mate is still campaign hard.
Thursday Paul Ryan told supporters in the battleground state of Colorado to get ready for more plans for big government in President Obama's speech tonight.
"Their convention actually began with a tribute to big government. They actually said, 'government is the only thing we all belong to,'" Ryan said during his event.
Romney will be back on the campaign trail in full force Friday in New Hampshire where President Obama also has a campaign rally.
Paul Ryan will be making his first stop in Sparks Friday morning. Then next week, President Obama is making another visit to Las Vegas.
