Republican Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan was back on the campaign trail for a second day in the battleground state of Iowa.
"President Clinton worked with Republicans in Congress to have a budget agreement, to cut spending. President Obama – a gusher of new spending and only demagoguery from those of us who have offered solutions," Ryan said at the stop Wednesday.
Mitt Romney also made his first public appearance in days, talking to a crowd at a building supply store in New Hampshire. This week, Romney has been taking a break from the campaign trail to prepare for next month's presidential debates. He's expected to return with an event in Virginia Saturday.
But his wife, Ann has been continuing the party's effort. Wednesday she made a stop in Ohio. "Women have to ask themselves, who's going to be there for you? I can promise you I know that Mitt will be there for you," Ann Romney said.
