Freight House Hosts Reno Aces Playoff Watch Party

Posted: Updated:

Game one of the Pacific Conference Championship Series between the Reno Aces and the Sacramento River Cats is at 7:05pm Wednesday night.

The first two games of this series are in Sacramento, but you can still go to Aces Ballpark to catch all the action.

The Aces are opening up the Freight House for a playoff watch party. There will be food, drinks and of course, Aces baseball.

"The playoffs start tonight [Wednesday], so we want to make sure people have a chance to come watch the Aces even when they're on the road," said TJ Lasita, who does public relations for the Reno Aces. "The Freight House District is the place to come and watch whether it be game one or two."

Lasita said a lot of fans made the trip to Sacramento to see the game in person. However, most of us have to stay and work, so they thought having a party here would give fans a chance to cheer on the Aces.

"We've had a great response. We mentioned this a few hours ago, during out last homestand, that we were thinking about doing this and the response was great, so I'm hoping we pack the house and have a great crowd."

The Freight House District will be open at 4pm both days to show the Aces road games inside Duffy's. The first pitch for the first four games is set for 7:05pm, then Sunday's game will start at 1:05pm.

This is the second year in a row the Aces and River Cats have faced off in the playoffs.

And for those of you who want to see the action live, tickets for all home playoff games are on sale at www.RenoAces.com or by calling (775) 334-7000.
