The Nevada Humane Society says it needs help finding loving homes for numerous pets.
This September, fees will be waived on all cats three-years-old, and all other adult cats are just $10. Adult dogs are $25, and kittens $40.
The Humane Society has a goal of finding homes for 900 pets as part of a three-month national pet adoption competition – the 2012 ASPCA $100,000 Challenge. Nevada Humane Society is one of 50 shelters nationwide competing for more than $500,000 in prizes, including a grand prize of $100,000.
Humane Society representatives say adopting an animal and saving a life is a rewarding experience.
To pick up a new pet just head to 2825 Longley Lane from 11am to 6:30pm daily.
