The 'Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off' weighed in on the presidential race today - holding a pig race to predict the winner.
And it was a close one.
"We've got the Obama pig and the Romney pig it's going to be close wait they stop! They see Stephen Ascuaga they come to a dead stop! There we go folks it's getting close, oh a little hesitation... Oh oh! Too close to call!!"
Since the race was so close judges had to rely on photographic evidence to determine which porker came on top.
They quickly found the pig representing President Obama won by just a snout.
"Not sure if it's within the margin of error on that but it was a great little race and we had a lot of fun with it," says John Ascuaga's Nugget COO Stephen Ascuaga.
Of course the presidential pig race is by no means an accurate prediction - in 2008 the John McCain pig won.
Volunteers were on hand to help assist with voter registration.
