TACOMA, Wash. The Aces trailed by five runs early, but a five-run fifth inning tied it and a Josh Bell homer in the seventh capped the comeback effort, as Reno earned a 6-5 victory over the Tacoma Rainiers at Cheney Stadium.

The Rainiers pushed across a run in the first, then added two more in each of the next two frames to jump out to a 5-0 lead. Two innings later, Bell deposited a Brian Moran offering over the wall in right to put the Aces ahead for good.

The loss fell to Moran (2-3), who surrendered Bell's solo homer out of the bullpen.

At the plate for Reno, Mike Jacobs singled and drove in two, while Konrad Schmidt added three hits. Reno was 3-for-4 with runners in scoring position.
