The price of gasoline is setting a record as the summer driving season comes to an end.
AAA says drivers paid an average of $3.72 per gallon today. That's the highest price on record for this date and the auto club says more daily highs are likely in the coming weeks.
The national average has risen nearly 12% since July 1st because of higher oil prices, along with refinery and pipeline problems.
But analyst expected gas prices to fall after Labor Day. (AP)
