Firefighters worked on a brush fire out in the Palomino Valley Area Sunday.
Sierra Front tells Channel 2 News the fire started a little after 10 a.m. off of Pyramid Highway, near Winnemucca Ranch Road.
The fire was fully contained about three hours later and burned about 90 acres.
Officials say no homes were threatened.
Fire officials on scene tell us the fire was started by target shooters in the area.
