As the club enters the season's final three weeks with a seven-game division lead, Reno Aces playoff ticket strips are available now and single-game postseason tickets will go on-sale this weekend, the organization announced today.
Full playoff strips allow fans to lock-in their spot for all five potential playoff games at Aces Ballpark this season, beginning with the Pacific Conference Championship Series and ending with the Pacific Coast League Championship Series.
Pricing for all playoff strips matches the Aces' regular-season pricing structure for individuals, groups and season-ticket holders.
Full strips are available for as low as $35 ($7 per game). Any postseason tickets held for games ultimately not played are subject to a full refund.
Single-game playoff tickets will go on-sale on Saturday, Aug. 18 at 10 a.m.
The club also recently unveiled the debut of its Community Champions Program, which will use the 2012 Pacific Coast League Playoffs as a platform to raise money for youth and family non-profit initiatives throughout Northern Nevada. As part of the Community Champions initiative, local non-profits will have the opportunity to purchase playoff vouchers for $5 and sell them for $10 on consignment. All proceeds go straight to the non-profit. Additionally, $1 from every Aces playoff ticket sold will benefit the Reno Aces Foundation. In the offseason, the Aces Foundation—a registered 501(c)(3) organization—will administer public grants to deserving groups throughout Northern Nevada.
The Aces enter play today with a seven-game lead over Colorado Springs in the Pacific North Division. Just 22 games remain on the regular-season slate—including 14 at Aces Ballpark. Last season, Reno made its first postseason appearance, winning the first two games of the Pacific Conference Championship Series at home before ultimately falling to Sacramento in decisive Game 5 at Raley Field.
An exciting slate of giveaways and promotions for postseason play will be announced in the coming weeks.
Should Reno hang-on to its division lead and advance to the postseason, the Aces would play host to Game 3 and Games 4 and 5 (if necessary) of the Pacific Conference Championship Series on Sept. 7—9. If the club were to advance through the first round, Game 1 and Game 2 of the PCL Championship Series would be held in Downtown Reno on Sept. 11—12.
