Man Arrested For Creating And Passing Counterfeit Money

Reno Police have a man behind bars for allegedly creating counterfeit money.

Police say 33-year old Michael Mount manufactured fake $100 dollar bills and was passing them throughout northern Nevada.

Police say detectives searched Mount's home, where they found an active financial forgery laboratory, which included a computer and printer that were used to make the money.

Mount was arrested on 19 counts of forgery and 19 counts of possession of a forged instrument.
