Hundreds turned out Friday to apply for seasonal work at Amazon.com's warehouse in Fernley.
JobConnect tells us they estimate 200-300 people filled out applications during the three-hour job fair.
They hope that will be enough to fill all the open positions.
One man who applied said a family member has worked for the company for over a decade and it's seems like a great place to work. "She loves it. She says that they really take care of their workers well and it's great. You get good hours and all that stuff and it's a great starting, you know, wage," says Tyler Weens.
Weens says even though many people are struggling to find work, he feels like the economy is getting better and more jobs are opening up.
