Man Sentenced to Prison for 2008 Reno Murder

A man who pleaded guilty to murdering a man four years ago in Reno was sentenced Wednesday.

Washoe District Court Judge Patrick Flanagan sentenced 28-year-old Cesar Garcia to life and prison with the possibility of parole after 10 years.

Garcia pleaded guilty to the murder on June 13th.

He and another man were suspected of fatally shooting Brian Coursey during a fight outside the Diamond Dolls Strip Club on Spokane Street back in June of 2008.

Garcia was not arrested until last October.
