Hot August Nights always brings the people, no matter the temperature.
"You gotta keep pouring the cold water down, dress light and put on sunscreen," said Valerie Monette.
Most people we talked with said this is the kind of weather you expect. After all it is called Hot August Nights.
Despite the steamy temperatures, event organizers say more than 800,000 people will check out these classic cars over the next few days.
Victorian Square will feature show n' shines, cruises, swap meets and just about everything you could ask for.
I asked some folks what brings them down here every year.
"We like looking at the other cars and talking to their owners, especially like the picture books and looking at the stories behind the car," Greg Monette
"Everybody is just having a good time, not causing any trouble, hopefully. People are enjoying the cars, the people and all the things that go with it" said Michael Hogan of Oakley, California.
