You might notice one pretty unique ride that's touring around town during this year's Hot August Nights.
Meet Big Red. It was custom built awhile back for Save Mart in California for a NASCAR race.
It's 12' 6" tall, 8'3" wide, and 11' long and weighs 3000 lbs. Its 28 gallon fuel tank uses 110 Octane Sunoco race fuel. The engine is a Watson Racing Chevy 454 commanding 520 horse power and 550 foot pounds of torque.
Big Red is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in approximately eight seconds.
