Things 2 Do This Weekend

Posted: Updated:

The first week of August puts us just past the Tour de Nez and heading for Hot August Nights. In fact, the kick-off for Hot August Nights in Reno-Sparks area is Sunday at the Bonanza.

But there's lots to do before that, like checking out the Marilyn Monroe photo exhibit at the Art Source Art Gallery. This weekend marks the 50th anniversary of her death, but her memory is still very much alive in the collection Cristel Citko has established over the last 35 years.

You can help raise money for the HAWC clinic to consolidate services with Saint Mary's Outreach Clinics. That's at Bartley Ranch and involves wine and ribs! You also can be a part of an interplanetary event as the Rover ‘Curiosity' lands on Mars Sunday. Telescopes will be set up at UNR's Redfield Campus. Enjoy!

Friday 8/3
